Train movement sensor
The train movement sensor is adjusted to working in conditions resulting from the place of its installation and ensures an uninterrupted operation even in the case of extreme weather conditions, i.e. icing, snow, dust, rain, strong wind, and direct sunlight.
The sensor utilizes two techniques to detect the presence of a train.
Description
Description
The train movement sensor is utilized to detect trains traveling on a given track next to the edge at which it is installed. The train movement sensor detects if and when the train enters a particular platform and when it leaves said platform. Such information is then transmitted to the Central System of Dynamic Travel Information.
