Platform displays LCD TFT were installed at WKD stops and stations. The rail network of the Warsaw Commuter Railway (WKD) is located at the south-west side of the Warsaw Metropolitan Area. The rail lines link the area of three districts: the capital city of Warsaw, Pruszków and Grodzisk, including two residential quarters of Warsaw and 6 municipalities: Warszawa Ochota, Warszawa Włochy, Michałowice, Pruszków, Brwinów, Podkowa Leśna, Milanówek and Grodzisk Mazowiecki.

Warsaw Commuter Railway introduced electronic passenger information display system along all lines served. In total, 45 platforms located at four stations and 24 passenger stops were equipped with 101 passenger information platform displays LCD TFT.
The boards provide information on the real time of train arrival based on the vehicle location monitoring system.
The DYSTEN company has produced and installed high brightness platform displays using TFT technology.
