The Kraków Płaszów Railway Station is the second-largest railway station in Małopolska in terms of the number of passengers served, as many as 320 trains a day, so we are all the more pleased that our company has been selected for the project. Due to the high frequency of train departures, the station needed a large, legible main station display boards with the timetable for the next 9 trains.
For the needs of the Kraków-Płaszów railway station, we have designed in accordance with the guidelines of Resolution No. 574/2011 of August 5, 2011 of the Management Board of PKP S.A. “Guidelines on Dynamic Passenger Information Displays”, two nine-line main station display – departures and arrivals. This way, passengers can see the schedule of the next 9 trains. We have built the WGS7X3 passenger information boards based on LCD matrices with LED backlight. The brightness of the matrix adjusts to the environment with an automatic brightness regulator, which guarantees the best readability of the displayed content. The main station display boards have been installed in the main station hall.
Thanks to the tailored solution of the DYSTEN company, the producer of dynamic passenger information displays, the Kraków-Płaszów railway station has been provided with easy-to-read, electronic timetables for the next nine connections. One main station display board shows the timetable of train departures, the other the timetable of train arrivals.
