Łódź Kaliska station – new and more accessible platforms with Dysten passenger information

DYSTEN is in the process of delivering Customer Information System devices for the comprehensively modernized Łódź Kaliska station. 

As part of the project, the station will be equipped with over 160 devices of the PKP PLK Real-Time Passenger Information System and a public address system. 

All devices, including:

  • platforms screens,
  • interactive digital totems,
  • next fastest train screens,
  • arrival, departure screens,
  • station clocks
  • motion sensors
  • microphone consoles
  • loudspeakers
  • public address system controller
  • audio amplifier

are comply with the guidelines for the executive elements of the Central Dynamic Passenger Information System and the accompanying infrastructure Ipi-6.

Thanks to the investment, more trains will stop at the station, which is of great importance for local and regional connections, and in the future as well as international connections. Passengers will get better access to the railways from 5 new platforms and additional underpasses.

Funds for the implementation of the task entitled “Increasing the availability of tracks on the E20 and C-E20 lines by improving the technical condition of the adjacent railway lines” comes entirely from the state budget. The construction works will be completed in the fourth quarter of 2022.
