Dynamic Passenger Information System at the railway station in Węgliniec

Manufacturer Dysten, in the task of Renovation and Reconstruction of the railway station complex in Węgliniec, provided and installed a Dynamic Passenger Information System in accordance with the requirements of IPI 6 PKP Polskie Linie Kolejowa S.A.

Main Displays Station departures and arrivals have been installed in the main hall of the station. The current times of arrivals and departures of trains are presented on three connected LCD 46 ‘matrices.

Info kiosk – the multifunction display presents the entire range of information for travelers, switched with 4 touch buttons.

The station collective displays present the current implementation of the internal timetable of the railway station in Węgliniec on smaller LCD screens.

The company’s tasks also included the delivery and installation of passenger voice information devices for the broadcasting system – audio controller, amplifiers and loudspeakers.

The Dysten company provided program integration with the Central System of Dynamic Passenger Information of PKP Polskie Linie Kolejowe S.A.

Reconstruction of the railway station in Węgliniec

After the reconstruction, the Węgliniec railway station complex has retained its historical character. It has become comfortable, safe, ecological and meets modern standards of passenger service. The passenger service area is equipped with benches, showcases for timetables and electronic boards for train arrivals and departures. A special child zone was also created, located behind the glass display case.

The reconstruction of the railway station complex in Węgliniec was financed under the government Railway Station Investments Program for 2016-2023, with EU funding and own funds.
